The Golden Moon offers a universe of accommodation; hosts offering spaces can compete on the same platform as resorts in order to grab the attention of travellers planning their adventures. We are breaking the boundaries that restrict hosts;\u00a0cost<\/a> <\/em>is one factor; guest management is another. Our platform is unique and, we hope, 5-star.<\/p>\n

The number of local hosts has almost tripled in recent years, however, the number of guests hasn\u2019t. Listings, therefore, have a limited exposure to targeted customers and occupancy rates are falling.<\/p>\n

The Golden Moon<\/em><\/a>\u00a0is passionate about bringing choice \u2013 not just to guests wishing to fulfil their dreams, but to hosts,\u00a0looking for choice.\u00a0<\/em>The launch of TheGoldenMoon.com brings to an end the era of a single service provider; an end of harsh behaviours toward the local host; an end to decision making solely to benefit the service provider and to terms of business being dictated by one single provider. We Remove the Boundaries<\/h3>\n

At the heart of our vision<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>is to bring all types of accommodation together which allows hosts to reach a new market, compete with hotels directly and reach new customers in a developing environment. For guests, we aim to inspire freedom by giving them a universe of choice \u2013 access to all types of accommodation from one portal, allowing them to create their own personal wonderland.<\/p>\n

For many there is a\u00a0cost\u00a0<\/em>boundary: Airbnb<\/a>\u00a0charges\u00a03.6%\u00a0and \u00a09Flats<\/a>\u00a0an enormous 15%. In contrast, Wimdu.com<\/a>\u00a0charges hosts 0%. While this appears attractive, it is the guest that pays; Wimdu imposes a remarkable 18% service charge to guests. It is clear that the result of these services includes a loss of profit whether in commission fees or with customers having to pay a higher cost.\u00a0Since September 2018 there has been no business activity on the platform.<\/p>\n

Our 5-Star Service…<\/h3>\n

Our 2.5% (plus VAT)<\/a><\/em> rate includes an ID check on guests which includes email and phone verification and their presence across social media.\u00a0There is a possibility for a 50% reduction on Service Fee based on an individual agreement<\/a><\/em>. Why? Because we are building a \u00a0community<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>of travellers and hosts that share our vision to travel well, enjoy new adventures and create personal wonderlands.<\/p>\n

Removing Boundaries does not mean removing the safety net to retain profit. Our approach to verify each new customer\u2019s ID, phone and email address, and social network presence provides a more\u00a0secure environment\u00a0<\/em>for your home and reduces instances of damage or inappropriate behaviour.<\/p>\n

We Inspire Freedom<\/h3>\n

The Golden Moon allows you to break free from the heavily monopolised platforms with a lack of flexibility and choice. Our platform allows you to rent properties your way, to whom you want. We provide a 5-star service for all hosts so they can provide a 5-Star service to their guests.
