We Remove the Boundaries<\/h3>\n

At the heart of our vision<\/a><\/span> is bring all types of accommodation together which allows hosts to reach a new market, compete with hotels directly and reach new customers in a developing environment. For guests, we aim to inspire freedom by giving them a universe of choice \u2013 access to all types of accommodation from one portal, allowing them to create their own personal wonderland.<\/h4>\n

Cost of platform use<\/h3>\n

For many there is a cost<\/a><\/span>\u00a0boundary: Airbnb charges 3.6% and 9Flats.com an enormous 15%. In contrast, Wimdu.com charges hosts 0%. While this appears attractive, it is the guest that pays; Wimdu imposes a remarkable 18% service charge to guests. It is clear that the result of these services includes a loss of profit whether in commission fees or with customers having to pay a higher cost. Since September 2018 there has been no business activity on the platform.<\/h4>\n

… offers you value for money from the start. Our 2.5% (plus VAT) rate includes an ID check on guests which includes email and phone verification and their presence across social media. How to pay<\/h3>\n

When you are ready to book, you will be asked to pay by credit or debit card for your booking. Your payment will then be taken only once your host has confirmed your booking. The Golden Moon holds your payment securely until you have checked in. This is to protect against fraud, keeping everybody safe.<\/h4>\n

The Golden Moon is supporting consumers by making it easier for hotels to get in front of travellers wanting an amazing experience and compete with others fairly. Unlike the online platforms, we have chosen to offer hotels a 0% rate. \u00a0We charge only a 1.5-3% card processing fee. The agreement takes place at the registration date and lasts for 12 months. It is possible to extend the initial term beyond the 12-months referred to in the Individual Agreeement.\u00a0<\/span><\/a><\/h4>\n
